Lenny Lopez

Lenny Lopez | Vocalist

Lenny Lopez started performing professionally at the age of 12 with his father and older brothers in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has spent over 48 years performing and recording with his brother, Jerry Lopez, in various versions of the band Santa Fe, now called Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns.

Lenny sings and plays percussion for the band. Lenny has also performed with other great artists such as Luis Miguel, David Foster, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Elton John, Gloria Estefan, and local entertainers in Las Vegas, such as Clint Holmes and Earl Turner, to mention a few. He has also recorded literally hundreds of jingles for Linwood Bell and other producers, and recorded with many different artists.

Lenny has developed a reputation for being a passionate musician/singer that loves to entertain, and loves to have fun on stage.

Lenny has recorded his own solo projects including a Christmas CD with pianist Dave Richardson (also with the band Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns) called “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” a CD that was released in 2001 to raise money for the victims of September 11. This CD was only sold for 2 years but because of popular demand it was re-released in 2008.
