Gil Kaupp | Trumpet
Gil spent many years playing trumpet professionally on stage and in the studios in Europe. Based in Munich, Germany he has performed on countless jingles and more than 200 Albums and over 40 motion picture soundtracks including “The Silence of the Lambs”, “Das Boot” and “The Never Ending Story.” He performs every Monday with Santa Fe & the Fat City Horns at the Copa Room at the Bootlegger. During the day Gil is Assistant Professor of Music Technology & Recording/Mastering Engineer at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and is the Jazz Trumpet instructor in the School of Music at UNLV.
