A 23-year resident of Las Vegas, transplanted from Southern California, Rob Mader is a freelance woodwind player. He is a featured member and soloist in Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns, The Las Vegas Jazz Connection Jazz Orchestra, and Latin Breeze.

Some of the artists Rob has performed with include: Bette Midler, Donny and Marie Osmond, Bill Champlin, Gladys Knight, Don Rickles, The Temptations, Frankie Avalon, Ben Vereen, The Four Tops, KC and The Sunshine Band, Mary Wilson, Susan Anton, Louis Bellson and Don Menza.

Demonstrating a command over the flutes, clarinets, saxophones and wind synth, Rob has performed in many musical theatre productions including; Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, Spamalot, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Peter Pan, Man of La Mancha, Annie, and The Music Man.

Rob has recorded with artists, including: Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns, Donny and Marie Osmond, Bill Champlin, and the Las Vegas Jazz Connection. His woodwinds can be heard on Fremont Street Experience, The Rio Show in the Sky and The Larry and Shawn King stage show.

TV credits include performances on The Tonight Show, The View, PBS, In Demand, and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Rob has a Bachelors degree in music performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and currently is a Instructor of Saxophone at the University. He is a former student of Bill Green (LA multi-reed studio musician), Felix Viscuglia (Boston Pops clarinetist), and Don Menza (writer and jazz great).
