As a young man, Gil Kaupp moved from the USA to Munich, Germany to pursue a career as a professional trumpet player.

He has since recorded more than 200 Albums and over 40 motion picture soundtracks including The Silence of the Lambs”, “Das Boot” and “The Never Ending Story”.

Since moving to Las Vegas he has played the Clint Holmes show at Harrah’s and is performing every Monday with Santa Fe & the Fat City Horns at the Tropicana Hotel.  Currently he is performing nightly with the Donny & Marie show at the Flamingo Hotel. When not on stage playing the horn Gil is Instructor of Music Technology at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and is part of the Jazz faculty at UNLV.
