Jerry Merra has been performing professionally, as a saxophonist and woodwind musician, for since 1977.

Jerry studied music performance and composition at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst under such musical greats as Max Roach, Billy Taylor and Yusef Lateef.

Moving from Boston to Las Vegas, Jerry immediately broke into the scene and began thriving as an in demand saxophonist and doubler.

His performance and touring credits include Bette Midler, Tony Bennett, Toni Braxton, Gladys Knight, Frankie Valli, The Temptations, The Four Tops,  The Nelson Riddle Orchestra & Sheena Easton among others.

He has also performed in a variety of Las Vegas shows including the prestigious Cirque Du Soleil “O”.
